Leroy
It is with profound sadness that I share one of the hardest messages I’ve ever had to write. My beloved dog and partner, Leroy, has crossed the rainbow bridge.
For so many years, this incredible soul was by my side — not only as my best friend, but as a teacher, mentor, helper, and steady presence for countless dogs and people who came through my life and All About My Dog. So many of the dogs I’ve worked with learned confidence, calmness, and social skills because of the patience, guidance, and safe place this amazing dog naturally gave.
Beyond training, we shared a life full of adventure, purpose, friendship, and unconditional love. From long days working with clients, to quiet moments at home, to every road trip, field, beach, trail and new experience in between — we truly lived life together.
Leroy also shared an unbreakable bond with Titan. The two of them were inseparable through every chapter of life — working together, exploring together, and growing alongside me every step of the way. Watching their relationship was something truly special, and I know Titan feels this loss just as deeply as I do.
I am heartbroken, but I am also deeply grateful. Grateful for every lesson, every laugh, every muddy paw print, every wag, every cuddle, and every life touched along the way.
To my clients and friends who knew and loved Leroy, thank you for being part of the journey. Your kindness and memories mean more than I can express.
While this loss leaves an enormous hole in my heart, I know the impact he made here will live on through every dog helped, every client supported, and every memory shared.
Run free, my sweet boy. You were deeply loved, and you will never be forgotten.
I love you Leroy, forever.
