THE BALANCED DOG

At All About My Dog, we’re all about balance. Physical balance means looking at the structural integrity of the dog: how the skeletal structure and the muscular system influence each other. An unbalanced structure can lead to wear and tear on the tendons, ligaments and joints. When dogs are in pain or suffering from skin or medical issues, their ability to listen and communicate can be compromised. While your vet should always be your first option, we offer additional onsite services and retail canine products to ensure that all of your dog is in top condition so they can be at their best! We host a chiropractor a few times a month at our facility so you can get treatment where you also come to train. Contact us to schedule a homeopathy and chiropractic appointment.

VETERINARY SEMINARS & SERVICES

Join us for clinics and seminars on a wide variety of topics having to do with your dog’s overall physical health: information on raw diets and nutrition, how to perform at-home healthcare and preventative medicine, at-home grooming practices for preventative medicine, rabies vaccine clinics, microchipping information and services, a range health services from our chosen referral traveling veterinarian, Dr. Betsy Johnson, DVM, Dr. Laurie Coger, DVM, and more! Keep an eye on our homepage, Facebook, and Instagram pages for upcoming health classes and workshops, as well as other health-related announcements.

REIKI: HEALING ENERGY

To support your whole dog, we offer Healing Energy with Reiki practitioner Jennifer Fortunato. Reiki practitioners use gentle touch or hands held above the body to attune areas of disease or imbalance. Reiki is non-invasive and will not interfere with other types of treatments. Pets with a wide range of needs may benefit as Reiki can address physical pain, behavioral issues, anxiety, and the effects of trauma, such as moving, a loss, abuse, and end of life transitioning. Jennifer has been providing Reiki in private practice to both people and pets for over 12 years. She was a Reiki volunteer at Emerson Hospital for two years, and now offers Reiki at Rosie’s Place, a shelter for poor and homeless women. Her beloved pit bull, Parker, is also a regular recipient! Contact us to schedule a Reiki appointment.
