VACCINATIONS, MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS, & YOUR DOG’S HEALTH
Required for all dogs: Up-to-date medical records, including a negative fecal report dated within one year that states “no parasites seen,” must be submitted to us at least 72 hours prior to your first appointment. See our Medical Requirements page to upload records and learn more. (There are no refunds or make-ups for appointments forfeited due to missing or late fecal records.)
- For puppies (7 months and under) we require: Clear fecal test dated within last 3 months and current on vaccinations.
- For adult dogs (over 7 months) we require: Clear fecal test dated within the last 12 months and current on vaccinations.
- For dogs of any age coming to a private lesson: Clear fecal test dated within the last 12 months and current on vaccinations.
- Always follow the recommendations of your veterinarian. Please refer to our Medical Requirements page for more information.
MULTI-DOG HOUSEHOLDS
- In Group Classes, one handler may bring only one dog to class. If you have a multi-dog family we invite all of you to come – but with one human family member per dog.
- In order to track your dogs’ progress and to ensure proper scheduling, each dog must be registered separately. (You can register your dogs under a single email address, but each must have their own password.)
- More than one dog may come to a private lesson with the instructor’s permission. Please contact us for details.
FEMALE DOGS IN SEASON (HEAT)
- Female dogs who are in season are welcome to class but they must be wearing doggie britches.
HOW DO VIRTUAL PRIVATE LESSONS WORK?
Virtual Private Lessons are conducted using Apple’s FaceTime. Lisa will call the cell phone number listed on your account at the scheduled time. Please have your dog with you and be ready to accept her call. (You can log into your account to verify or change your cell number.) If you don’t have FaceTime or would like Lisa to contact you at a different number, email her directly prior to the scheduled lesson.
